Summary: The general objective of the project is the development of a new, more sustainable leather article with high physical performance required in leather for EU sales channels, replacing fossil material retanning agents with more sustainable resins and plant extracts obtained through from natural sources and residual plant sources; such as resin and agri-food waste from the avocado industry.
